Drama Lab at Inaburra

$200.00

Drama Lab is a playful, practical theatre workshop where students explore acting, character and storytelling through games, improvisation, physical theatre and ensemble work.

No previous drama experience is necessary, newcomers are very welcome.

Building on the creativity and confidence developed this term, Term 4 will see the group begin working towards a full play. Students will explore different styles and approaches to theatre while developing believable characters, relationships, timing and performance skills.

The focus remains on learning through doing - experimenting with ideas, making bold creative choices and discovering how the different elements of drama come together in performance.

As Drama Lab instructor Jess Bulmer reflects:

“Drama Lab is a place where students can take creative risks, have fun, experiment with new ideas and express themselves freely.”

In Term 4 students will:

  • Work collaboratively towards a full play

  • Develop character and believable performance

  • Explore both comedic and thought-provoking theatre

  • Build confidence through rehearsal and performance

  • Continue developing improvisation and ensemble skills

Instructed by Jess Bulmer
